Meet the Leaders of Catholics for the Common Good

Oath for Officers or Directors
Catholics for the Common Good

I solemnly swear to work to hold Catholics for the Common Good, a lay apostolate for the re-evangelization and evangelization of culture, in trust to faithfully serve the secular role of the laity in the mission of the Catholic Church.

I acknowledge that my role and responsibility as an officer or director of CCG or CCGI requires full communion of the Catholic Church and her bishops. Catholics for the Common Good must always be tied to the vine that is Christ and his Church; always loyal to the Ordinary Magisterium.

I shall work to assure that Catholics for the Common Good always

  • Trains and leads lay Catholics and develops materials and programs  that are based on authentic Catholic doctrine and in strict adherence to  the Church's Ordinary Magisterium,
  • Maintains a non-partisan/non-ideological posture by only promoting activities or taking positions on public policy issues where the application of the Church’s teachings are so clear there is little room for prudential judgment,
  • Demonstrates respect for bishops and priests.
