Catholics for ProtectMarriage.com Announced

Catholics for Protect Marriage is a coalition of lay Catholic organizations and individuals joining together to restore the definition of marriage by supporting the passage of California Proposition 8 on November 4. The members of this coalition are part of ProtectMarriage.com coalition.

Leadership includes the Knights of Columbus, the California Catholic Conference, the California Catholic Women's Forum, the Catholic Men's Fellowship of California, and Catholics for the Common Good. All Catholic organizations are invited to join.

While Catholics for the Common Good is hosting content for Catholics for Protect Marriage as a point of coordination for Catholics, this coalition is an independent organization and not a project of Catholics for the Common Good. People who volunteer will be included in the database of ProtectMarriage.com and will be provided campaign updates and requests to participate in volunteer activities directly by the campaign or its representatives. Individuals signing up to volunteer will not be added to emailing lists of co-sponsoring organizations.
