Evangelizing the Culture
Begins with the Conversion of Self
Family Eucharistic Congress
SANTA CLARA, CA, July 22, 2013--Because the crisis related to marriage is so critical, this Saturday, July 27, the Shrine of Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara is holding an all-day Family Eucharistic Congress featuring CCG’s President Bill May. May, the author of Getting the Marriage Conversation Right, is an increasingly sought after speaker on marriage, family and culture by dioceses, parishes and Catholic organizations.
He will be providing two talks during the day.
The Ecology of Man, the Human Person and God’s Plan for Creation
The ability to satisfy the desires of the heart depends on understanding what it means to be human in the image of God, the Trinity. We are made for love but God offers no school of love accept to be in-Christ. The Eucharist, properly understood, teaches us everything we need to know.
Evangelization of Culture for Marriage and Family
Begins Around the Family Dinner Table
Rebuilding a Christian culture starts with our own conversion. Our Lady of Guadalupe provides a model for the humility needed and how to witness the truths of our faith in the language of the culture. How can we express God’s plan for creation in ways that our children and others can verify its truth and repeat it without fear?
